	Are you sure that your BIOS is set up to recognize PnP
	devices?  Mine was not and nothing was working until I
	reset that BIOS feature.  (( Did you change anything in
	the BIOS menu, in other words?))

	Tip: try only one change at a time.  

	With 4.0 the driver takes care of the irq/drq settings
	so that all you need is:

	^device pcm

	^device sbc

	Lastly, are you sure that the /devices are configured correctly?

	This does work; FBSD-4.0 has the best drivers so far, I think.
	Setting up things like a SoundBlaster AWE64 is fairly simple...
	well, at least comparably!

	Anybody else have input here??
