Agree. But i think the gs55 port should stay as is the only GNU one (i
don't mind, but others people may consider it's important to have two
product with two licences).

Yes it does. In fact, it contains old ones (0.93, i think).

I've built a running gs7 by cloning and tweaking your gs6 port and
replacing the old hpijs source gs7 is using by the last ones
(0.95). For convenience, i've temporarily removed cdj850, hpdj* and
others drivers added by the gs6 port:
