i'm using 4.3-stable on a compaq armada m300. the builtin modem is a
lucent winmodem and works with the hacked together linmodem drivers. other
stuff like soundcard (maestro) and ethernet (fxp0) and graphics (rage lt
pro) all have drivers in fbsd and x respectively.
