:> sys/kern kern_time.c kern_sysctl.c kern_sig.c :> Log: :> Giant Pushdown : :Hey, another one! This is encouraging -- may be, we'll have to pull the :5.0 release back a little :) Thanks, Matt, and all the others working on :this... : :Is the -current safer today than the Aug 23 one? Or should keep my :desktop at that for now? : : -mi -current is not going to stabilize for a long time. Just off the top of my head we have: * Julian's KSE code (Julian) * struct file and associated locking (Aflred) * struct proc locking (JHB) * unwinding Giant for related routines after the above locking is in-place and tested (Me, JHB, Alfred) All going into the main tree over the next few weeks. Each one of these has an effect on a large number of core files. -Matt To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe cvs-all" in the body of the message
