In order to get gdm working, you need to cvsup the latest ports
collection, have all the latest gnome bits installed, and be using gdm
2.2.4.2_1 or higher. While simply installing gdm 2.2.4.2_1 should get you
going, a lot of stability improvements have gone into ORBit, oaf, libpng,
and gdk-pixbuf that make it work upgrading.
