Mainly a gut reaction.  I've been puttering around free software for
years, and the FreeBSD folks are definitely the best of the best.
(No, I'm not trying to butter you folks up, that's my honest opinion.)
I've always thought of committers are these deitylike beings with an
unparallelled ability technical ability, able to save or damn users
with a very few well-placed keystrokes.  I instinctively recoil
against counting myself as one of the best of just about anything,
especially in the Internet era when I'm competing against everyone in
the world.

Oh, WTF, you're right, why not?  If the folks who close my PRs are for
it, I'm game.
