Yeah, this is the reason I wanted to take one step at a time. If we take a 
step I want it to be one in the good direction. Your input definitely was one 
stage in the whole process, though. Thanks again for that. If you can find 
any possible errors or weaknesses in the current proposal, please let me know!

Yeah, but I agree that it doesn't really feel very good. Perhaps we should 
have yet some more symlinks to directories here and there...

The latter. There is no ${PREFIX}/src on a normal FreeBSD system.
