Looks like you might have some old libguppi cruft lying around. Remove
/usr/X11R6/include/libguppi. You should have
/usr/X11R6/include/gnome-1.0/libguppi instead. This might be fixed by
reinstalling guppi, but if the old include directory is still elft,
you'll have to get rid of it.

Also, make sure gnome-config --cflags libguppi returns:

-I/usr/X11R6/include -I/usr/X11R6/include/gnome-1.0
-I/usr/X11R6/include/gnome-1.0/libguppitank -I/usr/X11R6/include/gtk12
-I/usr/local/include/glib12 -I/usr/local/include -DNEED_GNOMESUPPORT_H
-I/usr/X11R6/lib/gnome-libs/include -I/usr/local/include/orbit-1.0
-I/usr/local/include/gnome-xml -I/usr/X11R6/include/libglade-1.0
-I/usr/local/include/freetype2 -I/usr/X11R6/include/gdk-pixbuf-1.0
