thanks.  for some reason i'm getting abysmal throughput to a number
of freebsd archives in the us (including ftp-master) but ftp5 works
beautifully.  most weird, but i'm now back to getting packages-4.6.2-release
again.. hmm, it appears it takes about 3-6 days to mirror this down
to AU :-(

also, the 4.6.2 takeup seems quite high - perhaps a bunch of people have
been looking at upgrading to get around the recent security issues ?
