I should have added, the proper fix would probably be to get link_addr(3) to
recognize invalid link level addresses so that command processesing doesn't
continue. From the BUGS section:

	The function link_addr() should diagnose improperly formed input, and
	there should be an unambiguous way to recognize this.

But, barring that, I think the patch will solve the problem just as well.
