I haven't looked at the port for mod_jk, but there is the jakarta
tomcat connector, which has mod_jk and mod_jk2 in it. pretty simple
to compile, just a bitch to find on their website.

I have used that mod_jk/jk2 with Apache 1.3.x and 2.x as with
Tomcat 3.x and 4.x
