Try running the script with xtrace turned on, and redirect the output to
a file so you can see where it crashes.

This should work:

# sh -x /etc/periodic/security/100.chksetuid >~/100.chksetuid.out 2>&1

If you still can't figure out what's wrong, post the contents of
~/100.chksetuid.out.
