I was usign this eu_ES locale on Linux few years ago and I'm afraid that
if nothing has changed, and those non-FreeBSD systems were Linux 
probably they have a eu_ES locale quite poor.

Beleive me, thousands of basque people can't write their own name or the 
name of their town in those systems. If they would be users of those 
systems, of course.
