As I understand it, chkconfig is like gentoo's rc-update. It's just something you run once you just installed something from ports (in our case). Anyway, that's the same as ${bla#\$}. Won't break whether you have a leading dollar or not. --=20 Florent Thoumie flz@FreeBSD.org FreeBSD Committer --------------enigF2F691F35D47E1F0BBE38ABC Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" Content-Description: OpenPGP digital signature Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.5 (FreeBSD) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFFahWdMxEkbVFH3PQRCqb/AJ9Uxszid3wjd7hqj8SMT+mMKixHWACcC8Li 4hBY+uzKE0Yl7ef0vmRtTrU= =QiQ1 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --------------enigF2F691F35D47E1F0BBE38ABC--
