ah yes... i noticed this when I googled last night.  This did the trick
though!

Thanks much for your help.  I seem to have all my problems over the past 2
weeks worked out and it is working like a dream as an AP.  TinyBSD has it's
applications, but I love the full feel of NanoBSD.  I mounted /usr/ports via
NFS and it seems just like a regular PC.

I'll be back with more when i figure out which direction to take my boards
