They all work with FreeBSD, I can say that.  I can't say if there's a big
difference between the cpu's, given that I've not tried them myself, but I
would hazard a guess that you get what you pay for.

You would not be going wrong either way.  It depends on how much load this
machine will be seeing.  The motherboard plays a part as well.
