I'll go further and say no mention of the OS at all. @home started
taping my phonecall actually when I called them to complain about
latency etc. on the net. Some of the providers of cable have switched
to USB only modems to exclude anyone that runs anything else. It's all
ridiculous as 'support' for configuration of linux/BSD etc. would be
simpler than memorizing all the myriad Win settings in the end.

The CA branch of @home seems to view an altOS user as a threat of some
sort so it seems. Tres bizarre.
