Yes, and OpenSSL is linked against it as well, same for OpenSSH, w3m-ssl,
so forth. In further poking around I haven't found a success story with
OpenSSL 0.9.5a, and from what I've read p5-Net-SSLeay was tested against
0.9.3a, works with 0.9.4, can't find anything on 0.9.5a with it.

This may very well be one of my problems. It all works quite nicely on my
4.0 system with OpenSSL 0.9.4, I'm tempted to put 0.9.5a on it and figure
out if it's a OpenSSL/p5-Net-SSLeay issue or 3.4/4.0 issue. It could also
be a result of my mild modification of patch-aa to make the p5-Net-SSLeay
port build (ignoring the FORBIDDEN on 3.4). It would not surprise me at
all if this is my real issue

Thank you for the suggestion though.

Matt Heckaman
