I wouldn't think the problem is the Cyrix CPU because I've installed
FreeBSD
in heaps of them without problems ..... my guess would be your machine
is one
of the "brand name" things built specifically for Microsoft operating
systems &
possibly a bit fiddly & maybe even impossible to use with FreeBSD
