  all news servers would hvae to send all news to
  news://news.freebsd.org/ and only news://news.freebsd.org/ would be
  allowed to send news to any other site......there's that bottleneck
  again....now it'll be larger quantities of news (rather than mail)
  less frequently.

  perhaps i have misunderstood.
