Actually, when you compile the port, it specifically told you to turn on
linux compatibility (i.e. run the mount -t linprocfs etc...) first.

And IIRC, you still need jdk14. But I've installed both anyway, since 1.5 i=
s
not fully supported in FreeBSD.
