The linux fontconfig and freetype libraries we use are older than =20
those we use in FreeBSD native. So any differences between our native =20
libs and the linux libs are set in stone... more or less. If you find =20
newer libs which work with FC4 feel free to send patches (or at least =20
pointers).

Any differences in the build-time configuration of the libs (e.g., =20
bytecode interpreter in freetype) are also not something we can change.

Apart from this we try to use the FreeBSD native font configuration =20
files, so if you find some which aren't reused (either by using a =20
symlink or by "fall-through" to native ones), please tell us about it.

Bye,
Alexander.
