Adaptec 1430SA based on the Mrevell 88SX7042-BDU1, and AFAIK is not supported yet I don`t find it in ata(4) manual page. If you need cheap SATA controller look at Promise, i have Promise SATA150 TX4 working in old machine about 2 years under FreeBSD with no problems. WBR, Nick
