Maybe you can try changing the 0xee to another type (like one used for FAT) and patching your kernel to treat that type the same as 0xee so that GPT will still attach ok. You'd have to look in sys/geom for anything that looks for 0xee in an MBR and update it to accept either 0xee or your new test id. =2D-=20 John Baldwin
