IIRC you mentioned some where something about a interupt storm in
regards to this... if so I would possibly suspect atapicam. I have a
Promise PDC20268 UDMA100 controller card that runs into massive
problems with atapicam if a CD/DVD drive is attached to it.

That is most likely the usb 2.0 controller... so nothing to worry
about...
