I've just gone through this myself, but I have finally got it working.  Just
copy over the default stuff, that is a good start.  Also, you will need a
/usr/local/etc/cups/ppd directory in order to get ppd to work.  I have only
just got this fixed minutes before sending this email, so there may be more
fixes necessary.
