Uhhh... A think the K5 is pretty bug free. We have been using them since the early days with FreeBSD w/o problems at all. The only difference I can tell is that most users here use Asus motherboards; I guess I am one of the few who use PC Chips and FreeTech motherboards and have never seen any problems with K5 & K6 processors.
