Someone else pointed out that from the docs on Legacy's web site, they seem
to be OEM'ing Mylex

the DAC960 hardware"

Unfortunately my budget is limited. I dont want to go with the cheapest
solution out there, nor can I afford the most expensive. For me, an
external RAID box will be a step up rather than relying on tape backups and
retiring old drives before they might have a chance to fail.

As for the CMD units, have you had any direct experience with them ?
