Is it still breaking?  If so, compare the MD5 checksum of that file to this:

	dima@hornet% /sbin/md5 article.sgml
	MD5 (article.sgml) = f8ccfe7ff2221d3c785b173c0e714c22

If it's different, delete that file and re-cvsup.
