Note, the computer<->modem speed is irrelevant, except that the faster
you make it the better off you will be.  If your modem can handle it,
run your modems at 115K.

Others have experienced the same problems, although I don't see them
when I run user-PPP.  Someone with more experience might known the
answer, but it isn't a new problem.
