CVSUP is a one-way street -- the user must commit changes to the main tree themselves. For the checkout modes, it's dependent on what the user wants. I personally maintain CVS trees vs. checkout mode since I like to look at the commit logs and perhaps grab different versions of the files (RELENG_2_2 vs. HEAD for instance). People who are doing daily-make-worlds probably don't need that level of control (or disk use). > Finally: Any plans for adding authentication to cvsup?
