If you're talking about upgrading with sysinstall here, I am probably
not the right person to help you.  However...

Maybe not, but if you have cvsup installed AND you're not kind of
limited in disk space, it's nice to be able to do a 'make world' once in 
a while.  If you have problems getting the right supfiles for cvsup
upgrade, I can always send you the stable-supfile and/or ports-supfile
that I use at home.
