I don't want to over-react to your question.  We don't support SNMP
in our RADIUS server.  Our enhanced server DOES maintain state of
the kind you are seeking.  For simple counts, we usually postprocess
various log files.  For real time (read accurate) info, you can't
beat going to the "horses mouth" and query the NAS using SNMP or
telnet (depending upon vendor support issues).

Now DIAMETER is another story.  It has a built in concept of the
state of sessions it is dealing with.  But that is a bit off topic...

I urge you to send email to aaa-support@merit.edu and ask them your
specific questions.  If they start to hear what might be termed a
"trend" then they will likely consider augmenting their on-line (WWW)
documententation to save themselves from having to answer the same
kinds of questions over and over again.  It is just simple human
nature -- a matter of survival and keeping one's head above water
in the technical nightmare called product support.   :-)
