I'll be more than happy to do some testing.  I have plenty of blank
tapes and more than enough data to fill one up.

I wonder if I can get a firmware upgrade for this thing, or if I
should... Its actually a Compaq incarnation of the WangTek 51000,
though I don't think they changed anything.
