What chipset are these cards? If you can't get it working 4.0-RELEASE 
you should CVSup and install 4.5-RELEASE when it comes out as it has 
a broader range of Gigabit NIC drivers. Alternatively you might be 
able to backport the driver from 4.5 to 4.0. But don't count on it.
