I recently bought a couple of cards branded "Alloy".  They identify 
themselves as "DANPEX", and opening one up (how nice that they just 
clip together 8) they are based on a Tamerack part.  I suspect that 
a large proportion of the low-end "NE2000 compatible" cards will be 
using this or a similar part.
