I'm not sure we have quite the same machine (mine is a Dell Optiplex
GX1), but the following line in the kernel configuration works for
me:

device pcm0 at isa? port ? irq 10 drq 1 flags 0x0


The boot messages:

Aug  9 18:37:37 bofh /kernel: mss_attach <CS4236B>1 at 0x530 irq 5 dma 1:0 flags 0x10
Aug  9 18:37:37 bofh /kernel: pcm1 (CS423x/Yamaha/AD1816 <CS4236B> sn 0xffffffff) at 0x530-0x537 irq 5 drq 1 flags 0x10 on isa
