Yeah, mplayer has released a killer encoding video+audio program that can 
take the output of a TV Tuner card and make it a divx file. 

It's called mencode. Hit the mplayer website it looks very cool.

Yes, unfortunatley my coding skills are quite a bit less then above par. So 
I would have to have some help to get this rolling. Is anyone else 
interested in this?
