I used to do this too, but certain advantages are to be had with
individual ttys. I don't have a permanent connection to the net, I have
a dial up. It is therefore advantageous to know when the proxy needs
dumping. I also like to suspend or stop rc5des from remote (watch -W is
your friend.) I do know the immense risk I run, but I am soon to finish
up my firewall rules....
