Some things to check:
- What are the other options set to?
- What is your architecture?
- Do you have any plugins installed?
- What happens if you move ~/.config/chromium and ~/.cache/chromium out
of the way?
- Do you have the devel/libexecinfo port installed? You won't need it
for chromiium if libexecinfo is present in base (as
/usr/include/execinfo.h and /usr/lib/libexecinfo.*)

For me chromium seems to run fine (including YouTube/flash and multiple
tabs) on FreeBSD 10-alpha5-i386 with the default options.
