Revive + modifications

The committer assigning themselves the (bugzilla) issue will take care 
of reviving the port from the last revision prior to deletion using svn.

your diff, see:

SDince the port has been deleted, there's no maintainer by definition, 
but feel free to CC the previous maintainer on any issue you create in 
bugzilla
