Great news!  I'm always happy to see us offered in "competetive"
bundles like this since it gives the users a chance to make up their
own minds.

Yes, most definitely!

If you have around 4GB available, you should be able to get the most
basic stuff.  The entire collection is currently around 7GB and will
probably grow to 12GB or so in the next 6 months, as soon as we have
some more space on ftp.freebsd.org.
