Today has been an absolute wonderful day for me and BSD (sarcasm)
First the WDM problems, now this damned QuickCam.

Lets forget the WDM for now - I *thought* this would be easier than,
1. shutdown -h now
2. disconnect keyboard
3. plug in QuickCam (known as QC from here on out)
4. reconnect keyboard (this is non-USB, just par)
5. cd /usr/ports/graphics/cqcam make install
6. copy .cqcrc to my home directory
7. change ownership of said file
8. startx (WindowMaker)
9. xterm, cqcam (nada)
10. cqcam -h (a-ha, cqcam -P 0)
11. cqcam -P 0 (auto-probe for port)
12 Final result - no camera found (Um, nope - this is a spanking' new
cam)

Any ideas??? I'm at a loss...

NOTE: for obvious reasons, I left out going to root, or superuser, and

powering off/on the box...
