I am very interested in the answer to this as well and would apppreciate
a summary post if/when you figure it out.  I desire to have an Apache
installation that includes mod_php4, mod_ssl, and mod_frontpage.  My
current build was compiled by hand using the instructions found at
http://home.edo.uni-dortmund.de/~chripo but I would like to upgrade
using the ports tree if possible.
