Fact is, I believe the CD distros should be built in a slightly different fashion. How about: A CD iso for desktop configs, containing stuff that is typically needed for desktops A CD iso for server configs, containing stuff typically needed for server setups Additional CDs containing the rest of the "stuff" that is normally on CDs 2-4 It wasn't that long ago that a project called EasyBSD started and was going to make the first CD described above. I was part of that group because I felt such an ISO would be of great benefit to the FreeBSD project. Unfortunatly, I didn't have much time to work on things, and neither did anyone else who had initially started the project.
