I am looking for a 4 port SATA PCI card which works with FreeBSD (5.4). I am planning to do the RAID in software. Do Promise TX4 cards work? Also I was considering getting two Adaptec 1210SA cards (cheaper than getting the 4 port RAID from them). Does this one work? I searched the archives and googled, but could not find confirmation on this. I would consider any other 4 port non RAID SATA PCI cards which can be bought in UK and work well in FreeBSD. Vladimir
