I'm trying to write a Nagios plugin (or use an existing one). Can someone send me working output? I have to ktrace my megacli(8) binary. It's returning bogus data on my 6.2/amd64 box. ~BAS [seklecki@web05 ~]$ sudo megacli -AdpAllInfo -aAll 2>&1 Adapter #0 ============================================================================== Versions ================ Product Name : Serial No : FW Package Build: FW Version : BIOS Version : Ctrl-R Version : Pending Images In Flash ================ None PCI Info ================ Vendor Id : 0000 Device Id : 0000 SubVendorId : 0000 SubDeviceId : 0000 Host Interface : UNKOWN Number of Frontend Port: 0 Device Interface : UNKOWN Number of Backend Port: 0 HW Configuration ================ SAS Address : 0 BBU : Absent Alarm : Absent NVRAM : Absent Serial Debugger : Absent Memory : Absent Flash : Absent Settings ================ Current Time : 0:0:0 0/0, 0 Predictive Fail Poll Interval : 0sec Interrupt Throttle Active Count : 0 Interrupt Throttle Completion : 0us Rebuild Rate : 0% PR Rate : 0% Resynch Rate : 0% Check Consistency Rate : 0% Reconstruction Rate : 0% Cache flush interval : 0s Max drives to spinup at one time : 0 Delay among spinup groups : 0s Physical drive coercion mode : Disabled Cluster mode : Disabled Alarm : Disabled Auto Rebuild : Enabled Battery Warning : Enabled Ecc Bucket Size : 0 Ecc Bucket Leak Rate : 0 Minutes Restore HotSpare On Insertion : Disabled Expose Enclosure Devices : Disabled Maintain PD Fail History : Disabled Host Request Reordering : Enabled Capabilities ================ RAID Level Supported : Ûÿÿ Supported Drives : üÖÿÿd½ Allowed Mixing: NONE Status ================ ECC Bucket Count : 0 Limitations ================ Max Arms Per VD : 0 Max Spans Per VD : 0 Max Arrays : 0 Max Number of VDs : 0 Max Parallel Commands : 0 Max SGE Count : 0 Max Data Transfer Size : 0 sectors Max Strips PerIO : 0 Min Stripe Size : 512Bytes Max Stripe Size : 512Bytes Device Present ================ Virtual Drives : 0 Degraded : 0 Offline : 0 Physical Devices : 0 Disks : 0 Critical Disks : 0 Failed Disks : 0 Supported Adapter Operations ================ Rebuild Rate : No CC Rate : No BGI Rate : No Reconstruct Rate : No Patrol Read Rate : No Alarm Control : No Cluster Support : No BBU : No Spanning : No Dedicated Hot Spare : No revertible Hot Spares : No Foreign Config Import : No Self Diagnostic : No Allow Mixed Redundancy On Array : No Global Hot Spares : No Deny SCSI Passthrough : No Deny SMP Passthrough : No Deny STP Passthrough : No Supported VD Operations ================ Read Policy : No Write Policy : No IO Policy : No Access Policy : No Disk Cache Policy : No Reconstruction : No Deny Locate : No Deny CC : No Supported PD Operations ================ Force Online : No Force Offline : No Force Rebuild : No Deny Force Failed : No Deny Force Good/Bad : No Deny Missing Replace : No Deny Clear : No Deny Locate : No Error Counters ================ Memory Correctable Errors : 0 Memory Uncorrectable Errors : 0 Cluster Information ================ Cluster Permitted : No Cluster Active : No Default Settings ================ Phy Polarity : 0 Phy PolaritySplit : 0 Backgroud Rate : 0 Stripe Size : 512Bytes Flush Time : 0 seconds Write Policy : WT Read Policy : None Cache When BBU Bad : Disabled Cached IO : No SMART Mode : Mode 6 Alarm Disable : Yes Coercion Mode : None ZCR Config : Unkown Dirty LED Shows Drive Activity : No BIOS Continue On Error : No Spin Down Mode : None Allowed Device Type : SAS/SATA Mix Allow Mix In Enclosure : No Allow Mix In VD : No Allow SATA In Cluster : No Max Chained Enclosures : 0 Disable Ctrl-R : No Enable Web BIOS : No Direct PD Mapping : No BIOS Enumerate VDs : No Restore Hot Spare On Insertion : No Expose Enclosure Devices : No Maintain PD Fail History : No -- Brian A.
