	Yes.  :-)
	I'm having what is porbably the same problem running 

FreeBSD 7.0-CURRENT #0: Mon Mar 13 09:23:39 EST 2006 

	Looking at the core dump (data available on request) and
talking to the maintainer suggests a pthread issue.  I've been
meaning to find a threads guru, but haven't had time (and don't
know who to ask.  If you want to pick up the ball ....
