I have FreeBSD 2.0 Release and a problem with screen. It always dumps
core & hangs the virtual terminal i am on _if_ the user has a password.

If there is no password, it works as it should. I have tried versions
3.5.2 and 3.6.1 which both have the same problem. Both also compile nicely
without any problems.

I guess this has got something to do with the fact that freebsd does not keep
the passwords in /etc/passwd, but i have no clue how to fix this problem.

This propably is a well known bug, so is there a patch available?

Also i'd like to know any URL's where i might find texts about setting
up the system manually for networking. The stuff in /usr/share/FAQ isn't
very informative.
