You need more efficient coding of more high quality input to be able to actually enjoy the broadcast. A mono 44kHz 16 bit audio channel can be successfully transmitted in about 60kbps stream. (MPEG audio layer-2) and a stereo in double of that. I think content can be arranged if you provide the tools. MPEG audio encode and decode tools are readily available nobody just have implemented them in any of the MBone tools.
